People at Play: The Heavy Equipment Experience is the only construction playground in the Southeast United States. Located on an undeveloped 21-acre ‘job site,’ the attraction allows individuals age 18 and over the opportunity to learn how to operate construction equipment, purely for fun and the adrenaline rush! The Robinson Nature Preserve is a great place to go to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and runaway to nature for a while. The Preserve is newly restored and has all the native plants and free-flowing water you could want.
