Carrabelle History Museum
Carrabelle is a true fishing village, its people thriving off of the sea for over 100 years. Explore the town's history from its Native American roots, to its heyday of shipping and trading, to its present-day harvesters of the sea. (850-697-2141 or 850-524-1153)

Crooked River Lighthouse
The Crooked River Lighthouse saw many mariners safely home for the 100 years it was lit. The Crooked River Lighthouse was built in 1895 and now serves as a historical landmark to enlighten visitors about the history of Carrabelle. (www.crookedriverlighthouse.org)

Carrabelle's Beaches
This marine town has four beaches within twenty minutes surrounding that offer a variety of vacation experiences. Alligator Point is a secluded beach with lovely sandy beaches with no crowds. Carrabelle Public Beach is the closest option, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, walking, shelling, picnics, and surf fishing. Dog Island is a small barrier island accessible by water-taxi, boat, or plane, with pristine white-sand beaches and a choice of marshes and forests for exploring. Tates Hell State Forest

Carrabelle Junction
This unique cafe will take you back in time to the Forgotton Coast of the 1940s and 50s with its authentic ice cream parlor decor. Enjoy nostalgic soft drinks and floats or the famous 50cents a cup "Forgotten Coast" house blend coffee. They offer an assortment of breakfast and lunch options including "made from scratch" soups. Fisherman's Wife
If you are looking to enjoy the local seafood Carrabelle is known for, the Fisherman's Wife is the place to go. They offer an assortment of fresh seafood including a variety of shrimp dishes.
