Bring the kids down to the Santa Monica Pier to ride the indoor merry-go-round, carousel, or one of the other 12 thrilling roller coasters on the boardwalk. The Santa Monica Pier offers a wide variety of activities to suit everyone in the family including the free admission amusement park, arcade, shops, fishing, dining, and live entertainment. 26-Mile Bike Path

Enjoy a morning bike ride, run, or walk along the water on Santa Monica’s Bike Path. Starting at the Santa Monica Pier, pass through Venice Beach and Marina del Ray, other hot spots along the path overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Santa Monica Beach
Pick a spot on the 3.5-mile long beach to bathe in the sun, run along the water, or dive into the Pacific. Grab a volleyball court just south of the Santa Monica Pier to soak in the rays while playing with family and friends. Rent some gear and buy bait at the end of the Pier to enjoy an afternoon fishing session. Stop for lunch, rent umbrellas, chairs, and other beach equipment at the Annenberg Community Beach House. Palisades Park
Walk, run, or bike in this 25-acre park located along the scenic coast of the Pacific Ocean.
