While I stored my trailerable in their facility last winter, several items were missing including the outboard when we went to get the boat in the spring. None of the "officials" we talked to knew anything about it and were not helpfull at all. For short term or with you onboard, this facility would work, but otherwise I would not recommend it.

Very nice marina, outstanding dock staff, and nice pool. There is only moderate protection from passing boat's wakes though. The approach from West Venetian Causeway Bridge is a bit tricky, especially at low tide. The East side bridge is easier and the dock staff recommend hugging Belle Island. Call them early for help.

There are so many great marina's in Baltimore. We have been at Baltimore Marine Center for the last few seasons. Web site is www.baltimoremarinecenter.com. Very very protected and safe. Right in Canton, with lots of restaurants. Call the office at 410 675 8888. The airport is a 15 min taxi ride away. Charlie M/V Promises

Can anyone recommend a good, safe marina in Baltimore? We would like to leave our boat for one week. Is it easy to get to the airport from the harbor?

Restaurant Review St. Michaels

We have two favorite restaurants in St Michaels. The first is Bistro St. Michaels located at 403 S. Talbot Street. The restaurant is frequented by locals and is always crowded and lively. We have eaten here twice and both meals were outstanding. I would recommend the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and Broiled Rockfish Dinner. The service is very attentive. . Check out the website - www.bistrostmichaels.com. The second restaurant we highly recommend is 208 Talbot located at the address of the restaurant's name. 208 Talbot has a dining room menu and a Wine Bar Eatery with a casual menu. We ate in the dining room and enjoyed the Grilled "Filet of Mignon: of Pork. There are daily specials from soups to desserts. We took the dessert recommended by our waiter. It was oustanding. The restaurant was quiet, relaxing, and had attentive service. Website - www.208talbot.com. Either restaurant will be a great choice for an enjoyable meal.
