On site are the Schooner Freedom (a 72' tall ship known for its afternoon, sunset and ghost cruises - 824-1806) and Victory III (a sightseeing ship, Captained by Michael Usina, whose family has been operating cruises here since the 1880s - 824-1806). St. Augustine's many historic sites include the Oldest House, the colonial Spanish quarter, Flagler College, the Lightner Museum and the Castillo de San Marcos, a fort begun in 1672 and constructed of native coquina rock. With shops and galleries galore, the history and entertainment in this old city can never be fully explored. Within a mile is Davenport Park, with a playground and merry-go-round for the kids, who also will be amused by the well-manicured miniature golf course on the shore side of the marina.

Directions by Water
The St. Augustine Municipal Marina is located immediately south of the Bridge of Lions, on the west bank of the Intracoastal Waterway. If southbound on the Intracoastal Waterway, after the 65ft fixed Vilano Bridge, make sure to leave ICW marker 60 to starboard. Turn west through ICW markers 1 and 2 then follow the ICW through the Bridge of Lions. If inbound from offshore the channel is marked, though the buoys are not charted. Favor the south side of the channel. Bypass the first channel to port, continue west to ICW markers 1 and 2, and follow the channel through the Bridge of Lions. The Bridge of Lions has 25ft clearance at mean high water, if you require an opening contact the bridge on VHF channel 9. If northbound on the ICW, after the 65ft fixed State road 312 bridge, follow the channel north leaving the anchorage to your port. Past marker 10 you will have safe water to the marina to your port.
