If you want to play - on water or land - TIM has the equipment or excursion available. They also offer powerboat and sailing lessons. Most restaurants are either dinghyable or walkable, except for Harrison's - and they'll send a van out for pickup. The elegant Tilghman Island Inn is right down the road. Nearby is the water entrance to Back Creek Park, a wildlife refuge with a designated kayaking trail. 4-hour excursions also take paddlers and kayaks 2.5 miles to the Popular Islands on a pontoon boat - tour the 4 islands to observe the wildlife and the restoration projects. Hour and a half sunset drifts on the pontoon boat are $25. Right up the block, the Island Market is a nicely supplied convenience store; a produce stand is less than 0.25 mile at Dogwood Harbor.

By Sea from North Ches. Bay ... From Bay Main Shipping Channel - "G 83"
Once at "G 83", follow a course of 123m for 4.9nm. This brings you to "G 1", the west entry mark to Knapps Narrows. Leave it to your port side. Continue on past "R 2" and "R 4", leaving them to your starboard side. Round "R 4" keeping it close to your starboard side. Do not swing wide, as the channel is narrow and shallows quickly. Steer towards the Knapps Narrows entrance, favoring the starboard shore. The marina's entry is immediately to your right.
