Many of the town's early buildings are still in active use, and marine-related storefronts are everywhere. In Essex, the past and the present merge. On the property are also several brokers of new and used boats, carrying top lines such as Grand Banks, Cabo, Sabre, Nonsuch, Hunt, Beneteau and Nordic Tug.
