Description for Metropolitan Park Marina
Metropolitan Park Marina is located near Jacksonville Municipal Stadium on the Northbank of the St. Johns River just west of channel markers G"81" and R"82". Downtown Jacksonville and the Landing Area are approximately 1 ½ mile to the west. The 78 slips in Metropolitan Park Marina can accommodate boats up to 80 feet LOA and a few very large yachts. The slips are available to the public, first-come, first-served. Reservations are not required except during special events such as Jaguar and college football games at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium or concerts and festivals in Metropolitan Park. Reserving a boat slip during a special event. The maximum length of stay is 72 hours in any 30-day period. The marina has electricity and water hook ups and restrooms in the park and port-a-lets in the marina are provided. Metropolitan Park is open daily from 7 a.m. until dusk. A self-service, boat pump out station is provided free of charge.

The Landing City Docks are on the northbank of the St. Johns River between the Main Street and Acosta bridges (N30 19.460' W 81 39.598'). Jacksonville Landing, is also on a first come, first served, self docking, short term stay. There is a total of about 1400 linear feet of floating concrete face docks, no slips. Water depth to 20 feet plus with heavy tidal currents of 2-4 knots. No water, electrical or other services other than trash receptacles. No charge, 72-hour maximum stay in a 30 day period. During busy weekends, holidays and events boats are expected to raft to a maximum of 5 deep. Rules are posted. No open flames on board docks or boats. Lots of eateries (20) and entertainment immediately shore side (indicated above under restaurants JL"). "

Directions by Water
From the Atlantic Ocean up the river to the stadium area. The river turns to an east - west direction as you go under the Hart Bridge at Commodores point. The marina is on the north bank between markers G"81" and R"82". GPS 30.32102 / 81.63772.
