The marina building has full mens and womens bathrooms as well as washers and dryers and complimentary bicycles for guests. Directly adjacent to the Cambridge Yacht Basin is an expansive park open to the public. Below are some photo's of the park and surrounding monuments.

The 1994 replica skipjack Nathan of Dorchester" docks at Long Wharf (once the ferry terminal) and sails on Saturdays May-October - 2 hr. cruise family rates available. The marina office has copies of the Visitors' Center's Cycling Trails and fascinating Historic District Walking Tour - wander the several square blocks of lovely brick-paved streets lined with more than 70 grand restored late 19th and early 20th C. houses and commercial structures. One of the buildings is the expanding Dorchester Arts Center (Mon-Sat 10am-2pm) featuring exhibits workshops and performances. The Community Trolley picks up at Long Wharf Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:30pm Saturday 8:30am-5:30pm at 50 minutes past the hour."
