Under a canopy of live oaks and magnolias, the Victorian homes and brick streets of Fernandina Beach promise a walk back in time to the roots of north Florida's Southern heritage. The Museum of History offers walking tours of the historic downtown with details of four centuries in this delightful enclave of antiques and small shops. Several bed-and-breakfasts and at least ten restaurants are within a few blocks of the marina. This is also the home of the nation's largest shrimp fleet, so be sure to stroll north past the commercial docks. The first Friday of each month features Art Rageous, with special events in many of the galleries and shops. Escapade Casino boat leaves daily at 7pm plus 11am on Sat & 1pm on Sun. Fee is $10 for cruise & buffet - adults only.
