Built in 1993, the country inn and outbuildings are in the style of Williamsburg's Cole-Garret House, reflective of area farms settled in the 1600s. The lovely hostelry has 7 well-appointed rooms-- all furnished in good-quality antique reproductions and four-posters. The well-reviewed restaurant serves Eastern Shore cusine for lunch and dinner. A gracefully designed pool is immediately adjacent surrounded by a patio comfortably furnished with umbrella-topped tables, chairs and chaise lounges. A small, shaded pavilion provides a respite from the summer sun. Adjacent to the pool, the Inn's screened back porch - used as a breakfast room - overlooks a little pond (inquire about joining the Inn guests for breakfast). Nearby are picnic tables, grills and a small play gym.
