Saunders Yachtworks in Gulf Shores, AL, and Marina Pez Vela in Quepos, Costa Rica have formed a strategic alliance that will allow the two full-service yacht yards to provide enhanced service support to their overlapping customer bases. For Saunders, the affiliation offers expanded sales and service into Central America, while the Yacht Yard at Marina Pez Vela will benefit from an increase in educational and training opportunities.‍

Bahia Mar Resort and Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is now one of the first marinas to be a designated Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) in the United States. Previously reserved for ports, holding zones and airport duty-free zones, this FTZ designation will permit international vessels to dock at the marina without paying duty and allow brokers to show for-sale vessels to U.S. citizens.Welcome back! After the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, Chub Cay Resort and Marina in the Berry Islands, Bahamas and Harbour Town Yacht Basin in Hilton Head Island, SC, have fully reopened with significant renovations.

‍Coastal Properties Management in Annapolis, Md., was awarded a contract for oversight management of Maryland Yacht Club in Pasadena, MD. The marina basin is well-protected at the entrance of Rock Creek with stunning views of the Patapsco River and features a wide variety of amenities.
