Skipjack Cove Marina is located on the Sassafras River, about seven miles from the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. Skipjack Cove is a family-oriented, pet-friendly premier marina in a lovely and protected cove, with peaceful anchorages and small beaches to enjoy. We love that the water here is fresh which means good swimming and no sea nettles. Even better, Skipjack Cove Marina is nestled within 18 acres of scenic woods and shoreline so that guests can enjoy the very best of nature, as well as a number of exceptional amenities. This is truly a prime destination marina on the Chesapeake Bay!
The marina boasts 365 slips (both open and covered), as well as a number of amenities. Guests will enjoy playing in an olympic size swimming pool, a children's pool, a tennis court, a basketball court, volleyball and picnic and BBQ areas. Skipjack Cove also has large restroom and shower facilities, including 28 separate tiled showers with private heads, and laundry facilities. Boaters who need to fuel up and re-stock will be pleased with the fuel dock and a ship's store on-site. Boat service is also available.
Skipjack Cove Marina is also home to Signals, a charming and relaxing Eastern Shore restaurant and bar overlooking the beautiful Sassafras River. Dining inside or outside on the deck offers scenic views of the River and Cecil County farmland.
2023 Rates: $1.75 - $3.00/ft
STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY: This marina has a 48 hour cancellation policy for all standard stays. In the event that you need to cancel within the 48 hour window, you may be issued a credit towards a future stay at this marina, at the discretion of the dockmaster. There will be no exceptions for cancellations inside of these periods due to weather or boat issues.
HOLIDAY & SPECIAL EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY: This marina has a 72 hour cancellation policy for all special events and holidays including, but not limited to, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, etc. In the event that you need to cancel within the 72-hour window, you may be issued a credit towards a future stay at this marina, at the discretion of the dockmaster. There will be no exceptions for cancellations inside of these periods due to weather or boat issues.
