

Situated on the Freeport Peninsula within the protected Montego Bay Harbour, the Montego Bay Yacht Club (MBYC) offers premier facilities for visiting yachts. The club features a finger pier with a T-head accommodating vessels with water depths ranging from 6 to 20 feet, with stern-to berthing utilizing personal anchors. Boats may also anchor in the basin off the Club, with a daily charge for facility usage.
Amenities include water and diesel available along the pier, with gasoline also offered. The club's restaurant operates daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, serving lunch and dinner. A bar is located in the Club House, open seven days a week, featuring a pool table (children under 16 are not permitted in the bar area). Laundry services can be arranged through the office.
For provisioning, nearby shopping centers such as Fairview, Westgate, and Mega Mart offer groceries, liquor, and other essentials. The Bank of Nova Scotia and alternative ATMs are located at the Fairview Shopping Center. Montego Bay also boasts a variety of restaurants, many providing free pick-up services; assistance can be sought from the club for arrangements

Upon arrival, contact MBYC on VHF Channel 16. After berthing, register at the office during normal hours (9:00 am - 6:00 pm) to facilitate Customs and Immigration clearance. Note that additional charges apply for clearance outside normal business hours and on weekends or public holidays.
Water and diesel are available along the MBYC pier. Gasoline is also available. If you require over 2,000 gallons of diesel, please order ahead of time. Jamaican water is safe to drink from the tap.
