The San Francisco Marina Yacht Harbor is located on the Northern Waterfront of the City of San Francisco. It is approximately one and one-half miles east of Golden Gate Bridge and west of and adjacent to Fort Mason. The Marina is composed of two harbors, known as the East Harbor and West Harbor. The East Harbor, also known as Gashouse Cove, is next to the western boundary of Fort Mason. The East Harbor consists of 343 boat slips, the City Yachts boat sales, and park land which includes a restroom, and two parking lots. The West Harbor includes the West Harbor marina area, the Saint Francis And Golden Gate Yacht Clubs, the Harbormaster's Building, the park area known as Marina Green which includes restrooms and a concession stand, and four parking lots. The Marina Green, a major and popular city park, is situated between the East Harbor, West Harbor and Marina Boulevard.á This facility is first come first serve.
