Schaefers Canal House Marina is a hidden gem along the Northern Shores of the Chesapeake Bay. Located in Chesapeake City, MD, the marina is nestled on Back Creek, which branches off of the Elk River. The facility has a undergone some fantastic rehabilitations to both the dock area as well as the main house. While visiting, boaters will have access to great amenities including restrooms, a courtesy car, and a full provisioned Ships Store. While Schaefers Canal House Marina is an awesome marina, they have an amazing restaurant attached to it that second to none. The restaurant has beautiful deck seating that overlooks the water, with an option to sit inside as well. The menu is to die for! Filled with a wide variety of seafood specialties and casual bites, there is a taste here that will please any pallet. The restaurant does have special menu's for holidays, as well as an amazing event space, perfect for hosting your next big shindig. The beautiful veranda that overlooks the creek gives guests a quiet spot to catch up on some serious R&R.
