This tiny public float is actually party of-and protected by-the ferry dock that serves Mayne Island and Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. The terminal's three-peaked gray and blue office overlooks the single transient dock; a bright-blue railed ramp connects it to the large, main ferry dock. The view is out to Active Pass, aptly named because it is the busy main route beteween Vancouver and Victoria, and of Mt. Baker. Huge ferries pass by the entrance regularly, providing a bit of a show.
