Vesuvius Bay Public Wharf

Salt Spring is the largest and most developed of the Gulf Islands. Vesuvias Bay, suited on the northwest side, is primarliy a ferry stop, one of three on the island. The ferry to and from Crofton, just across the straight on Vancouver Island, docks here. The Vesuvias Bay Public Wharf is a small float inboard of the ferry terminal - a red-railed ramp leads to a stationary pier and the pier to a small "settlement." The adjacent Seaside Kitchen Restaurant overlooks the wharf and dominates the landside views from the dock.
