At the eastern end of the graceful sweep of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge sits the Bay Bridge Marina. For many years the marina, set on Kent Island, has been a familiar friend to bay boaters. Recent renovations have given a new luster and charm to this established Eastern Shore destination. If you have visited the marina in the past you will marvel at the makeover. If you are new to the Bay Bridge Marina, get ready for a first-class resort experience.

A state-of-the-art floating dock system has been constructed from the finest durable Brazilian IPE wood. The marina can accommodate boats up to 130 feet. The docks are eight feet wide with four-foot-wide full-length finger piers on both sides for easy docking and disem- barking. On shore you can enjoy a sparkling swimming pool and hot tub with a convenient poolside member-managed bar. The private restrooms, showers and laundry room are modern and pristine, and the manicured landscaped grounds include a picnic area overlooking the bay.

Hemingway's, the on-site waterfront restaurant and bar, has been a landmark for many years. Today the popular, well-loved gathering spot has a new facelift and a fresh attitude. The building has been transformed inside and out with a light and airy atmosphere. Beautiful, spacious decks adorn two levels and offer an impressive view of the Bay Bridge and a glimpse of Annapolis on the far shore. But the most awesome sight is the spectacular sunsets mirrored nightly by the Chesapeake Bay. The menu includes light fare and full meals, with freshly prepared seafood, soups, salads and a choice of exciting daily food and drink specials. Hemingway's hosts weddings, parties and special-event gatherings.
