We are your preferred recreational boating experience at, on, and near the water, says senior vice president Jeff Rose, who has been with Safe Harbor Marinas (previously Marinas International) for more than 17 years. The marina management company has stood by its philosophy since 1985, and has remained committed to providing the best boating experience and customer service for all its guests, while maintaining a family-orientated atmosphere. The company now manages 29 facilities across the country from San Francisco and Boston to the Great Lakes and Florida. Highlighted below are five coastal properties that stand out as prime marinas in each destination area.

Marina Bay is on Boston Harbor in Quincy, Massachusetts, just seven miles south of downtown Boston. The full-service 686-slip marina is hospitable to transient boaters and can accommodate vessels up to 210 feet; the professional staff provides visitors with red-carpet concierge services. The marina has plans of building a west-basin megayacht marina, along with expanding the breakwater.

Moving south to St. Petersburg, Florida, Harborage Marina sits on Tampa Bay, protected by an 800-foot breakwater and only a half-mile walk from downtown. The state-of-the-art facility includes everything a boater could need: fuel dock, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, pumpout, pool and an on-site restaurant: Fish Tales.

Further south along Florida's west coast and stop on Pine Island at Pineland Marina, a full-service facility offering wet and dry storage, ship store, transient slips and fishing tours. Located near the Boca Grande Pass, a prime fishing ground for tarpon, Pineland Marina hosts the Bobby Holloway Fishing Tournament every year. The marina is also home to Island Girl Charters, a ferry service providing access to the surrounding islands.

Situated on Clear Lake, about 35 miles southeast of Houston, Texas is Marina Del Sol. The friendly and inviting staff wants to make sure all marina visitors come back for more there are even monthly socials for family and friends with live music, and barbecues! The marina can accommodate vessels up to 55 feet and is a short drive to Kemah Boardwalk, home to an amusement park, restaurants, and shops.

On California's coast, located in the heart of San Francisco Bay overlooking both the Golden Gate Bridge and the breathtaking San Francisco skyline, is Emeryville Marina. The marina can accommodate vessels up to 65 feet and provides boaters with a camp-like feel. The facility includes showers and laundry facilities, free WiFi, satellite TV, access to BERT (Bay Area Rapid Transit), and controlled-access gates that ensure a well- protected stay for all visitors.
